Payment can be made by cheque in UK Sterling, postal-order in UK Sterling, credit card, debit card, or cash in UK Sterling by registered mail. Alternatively, pay by international money order, banker's draft or telegraphic transfer drawn on an British bank.
Credit cards Visa or Mastercard can be accepted but a charge of 2% will be added to the invoice ( this is slightly less than the charge the bank makes to ourselves for processing credit card transactions )
Debit cards such as Maestro or Delta incur no extra charge. Please note, we can't accept Electron cards.
Blank Cheque If you are not sure about the exact value of your order you can work it out roughly, round it up to a convenient figure and send us a blank cheque with the words (" not more than £ --.-- ") written across the bottom.
Pro-Forma This is an invoice sent to you when your order has been packed and its value calculated. The goods are dispatched when we receive your payment for the invoiced amount.
Small orders Please note that we have a minimum goods order value of £10 for Uk orders and £50 for International orders. The high cost of processing means that we make a loss below this level.
Delivery Times We expect to send your parcel within 7 working days of receiving your order. We try to be faster but it is not always possible and at busy times can be longer.
Prices are subject to change without notice and goods are offered subject to availability.
V. A. T. Within the UK and European Community VAT will be charged at the rate ruling in the UK when the goods are invoiced. Deliveries to the Channel islands and places outside the E.U are not subject to VAT.
Carriage Goods are sent by Commercial Carrier / Parcel force / Royal Mail depending on size and weight. Current rates are on the Postage page.
Lost Parcels We will send you an invoice by mail on the same day that we send your parcel. If you do not receive your parcel within 5 working days of receiving your invoice, please tell us. After this time, it becomes difficult to clain against the carriers.
Leather is sold in shoulders, sides, butts or hides (see Technical Information for explanation of terms) NOT in single square feet. Samples are available on request. If sending your request by e-mail, please include your address. Suitability for a particular use is the responsibility of the user. Cut skins are not returnable.
Unlisted items We carry several thousand different items and it is not possible to list them all. If you have a specific requirement please ask us or feel free to visit our premises.
Assistance Our workshop has been making leathergoods by hand for over 20 years and if you have a problem we will be pleased to help if we can.
Guarantee If any of our goods fails to please for any reason please return them within 14 days. Assuming that they are in the same condition as they were when dispatched, we will send you a full refund.
Descriptions are given in good faith but it is the responsibility of the user to decide if the materials and fittings are suitable for their particular job.
Complaints. If we get something wrong please tell us. If we don't know we can't put it right.
